Supporting youth facing barriers to accessing STEAM education.
Cybermentor offers online mentorship and outreach programs for youth who face barriers to accessing STEAM education.
Our mission is to encourage young people interested in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) to pursue post-secondary education and reduce barriers marginalized communities face to accessing these programs.
Mentorship Program
Since 2001, Cybermentor has been matching girls age 11-18 with women in STEM to engage in an online mentoring relationship. Starting Fall 2020, girls and non-binary youth age 10-18+ (typically grades 5-12) will be matched with women and non-binary STEAM professionals..
STEAM Outreach Program
Cybermentor offers a variety of diversity and STEAM outreach programs for schools and extracurricular groups.
